1. What you're buying

Master Split is a one-time purchase, perpetual license for the macOS application (Apple Silicon), licensed per the EULA for use on up to two Macs. Price is shown at checkout: [PRICE — $99–199 TBD] (taxes/VAT may apply by location). Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive your card details. Your license key is delivered by email, typically within minutes of purchase. Keep it safe — it is your proof of license.

2. Trials

Free trials provide the full application for [14] days, one trial per person/email. We may use technical measures (e.g., per-email and per-IP limits) to prevent trial abuse and may refuse or revoke trials obtained by circumventing them.

3. Refunds

[BUSINESS DECISION — pick one; RECOMMENDED: option A for a paid product with a free trial available:]

Refunded purchases result in the associated license key being deactivated. Chargebacks on legitimately delivered licenses likewise result in key revocation.

4. The license service

Activation, machine binding, and license transfer depend on our license server. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; the desktop application is designed to operate offline for up to 30 days between validations. [MIRROR THE EULA end-of-life commitment here if adopted.]

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell or redistribute license keys; use the service to obtain keys fraudulently; probe, overload, or disrupt the license server or website; or violate applicable law in connection with your purchase or use.

6. System requirements & compatibility

The Software requires an Apple Silicon Mac and a supported macOS version, as stated on the website at the time of purchase. We do not guarantee compatibility with future macOS versions indefinitely, though we endeavor to keep the product current (see EULA §7).

7. Intellectual property

The website, the Master Split name and branding, and the Software are our property or licensed to us. Open-source components are credited in the User Manual and governed by their own licenses.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The website and license service are provided "as is". OUR TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO ANY PURCHASE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID; NO INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Statutory consumer rights (including in the EU/UK/Australia) are not affected where they cannot be waived.

9. Governing law & disputes

Governed by the laws of [STATE]; venue [COUNTY, STATE]. [ATTORNEY: consider small-claims carve-out and/or arbitration clause — business preference needed.]

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force at your time of purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be posted on the website with the updated date.
